Road Safety Awareness and Sensitization campaign under the theme: “No Need to Speed” was launched by the Secretariat in Bong, Margibi, Grand Bassa, and Cape Mount counties from February 7-19, 2021 respectively aimed at providing road safety education for drivers, motorcyclists, pedestrians, marketers, students, workers among others to help reduce the alarming rate of motor accidents across the country.

During the conduct of the awareness campaign, the RSS held stakeholder meetings and Trainers-of-Trainers (TOT) workshops in the counties for the first time to help educate drivers, community dwellers, students, local authorities, and marketers, leadership of transport unions, and student community. Printed t-shirts with Road safety messages and brochures, flyers were also distributed and stickers were posted at different locations to sensitize people to see the need to take road safety seriously.
