The Road Safety Secretariat (RSS) in Liberia has several key pillars aimed at improving road safety across the country. These pillars include:

Ministry of Transport Policy arm and  Public Awareness Campaigns Conducting public awareness campaigns to promote road safety and encourage safe driving behaviors.

Ministry of Public Works: Infrastructure Improvement Enhancing road infrastructure to make roads safer for all users.

MOJ/Liberia Nation Police: Legislation and Enforcement Developing and enforcing road safety laws and regulations to ensure compliance and improve road safety standards.

Ministry of Education: Education and Training Providing road safety education and training for drivers, pedestrians, and other road users.

MOH/Emergency Medical Response: Enhancing emergency medical response capabilities, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and trauma training for health facilities staff.

These pillars are part of a comprehensive approach to reducing road accidents and fatalities in Liberia.
